This work takes the shape of a map of Viet Nam. On this map are miniature mountain forms that act as markers for the numerous battles that took place on the date specified in the title of the work. The foil and the changes in elevation of the many circular shapes reference a flowing river, speaking metaphorically of the war and the changes in ideologies of those that participated in the event.
