The horizon is a place in the landscape that invites contemplation and introspection. Using this as a point of departure, this work explore issues of time. Twenty years is define as a generation in the sociological time line. This installation notes the past and the future of Viet Namese refugees in America. The circular form of the work takes its shape from maps of Viet Nam and the United States. Seen at eye level, the work hints elusively to images of landscape, seascape and particularly, dreamscape. The work exist ambiguously, offering moment for recollection of the events that brought Vietnamese refugees to America and of the opening of Viet Nam to the West.
